Coffeehouse at The Mews, an open mic for writers, playwrights, poets, singers, songwriters, comedians, etc. starts season number 20 on November 1, 2010 through May 9, 2011 with host and co-founder, singer songwriter Peter Donnelly. The other co-founder is Mews owner and radio/television personality Ron Robin.
Coffeehouse performances are on Mondays at 8PM and is a benefit ($3 suggested) for Provincetown Community Radio Station WOMR. Open mic performers who wish to sign up may do so at 7:30. Each week there is a featured performer who is accomodated at the Beaconlight Guesthouse, presented with a meal from The Mews Restaurant, and all performers are entitled to use an electric piano on loan to us from The Benchmark Inn. Free self serve coffee at the bar is provided by Wired Puppy. Additional promotion is provided by Dunes 102. A portion of the evening is recorded for broadcast on WOMR 92.1 throughout the year.
